Phoenix, AZ Make-a-Wish Foundation Executive
Director Doris Harrison accepted responsibility and apologized
Wednesday for a lewd open mouth kiss shared by pop superstars
Britney Spears and Madonna at last week's Video Music Award
Ceremony.
"In our zeal to see a 12-year-old boy smile for the
first time in years, we reluctantly agreed to his unusual
request," Harrison said. "Unfortunately, he just
wasn't interested in going to Disney World."
The boy in question, thought to be a leukemia patient at
St. Louis Children's Hospital was a later identified as Trevor
Jamison, a 17-year-old high school dropout, suffering only
from stunted growth, mostly due to a two pack a day smoking
habit.
According to sources, Jamison, claiming to be on his deathbed,
made several heartfelt written requests to the Make-a-Wish
Foundation, which attempts to grant wishes to sick and terminally
ill children such as meeting a favorite celebrity or getting
tickets to concerts and special events.
"He first asked that we arrange for Anna Kournikova
to bare her breasts in a private meeting between the two,
but because of the inappropriate nature of the request and
because [Kournikova] had previous commitments, we couldn't
work it out."
Instead, the popular tennis star agreed to deep-throat her
racket on center court, which the 12-year-old viewed on closed
circuit television from his hospital bed.
"We thought for sure he could die peacefully after seeing
her take that racket all the way down, but he just kept sending
in more requests," Harrison said. "What choice did
we have?"
Make-a-Wish representatives had little problem convincing
veteran pop diva Madonna and Britney Spears to agree to Jamison's
very detailed request of a "lengthy, open mouthed kiss
of no less then two full seconds that included an exchange
of spit," but admit they had several contingency plans
including a mutual oil rubdown by Olsen Twins Ashley and Mary-Kate.
Strangely, the twins did it anyway.
