Greetings Heathens!!!

Did I mention my new career as a manager for supermodels? One of my first jobs was finding a bodyguard for my newest client, Sandra, the big-breasted beauty queen who likes to get in trouble. Here is the correspondence.

Hello Mr. Roberts. Glad to hear you're interested. I have to admit I'm new to this kind of thing. She is my first client and her career just shot into overdrive in the past couple of months. She is absolutely stunning and there are a hundred things I'm doing all at once to make sure the transition from college coed to supermodel goes smoothly. I'd like you to tell me about yourself. Have you dealt with celebrities before? How big are you? We really just need someone who will deter paparazzi. She is scheduled to appear on the Howard Stern Show which will surely send her career even further into overdrive. I'd like you to tell me why you think you are the man for the job. Hope to hear from you soon.

Jerry Stone

P.S. I am terribly sorry but I am unable to use the phone at this time. I just had two root canals and for the last few days, whenever I open my mouth it's too scream in pain or yell at my nagging bitch of a wife.

Jerry,

This is quite alright, I can understand with having two root canals. It doesn't surprise me that you have gotten many responses from lots of guys. I deal with many people who like to think that they are bouncers or body guards. Usually they are tough guys who couldn't control or stop a situation if their life depended on it. My experience is far greater than what I informed you of in my initial e-mail.

Well lets see, a little about me, I'm 32 yrs. old and 6'3" tall. I'm 220 lbs. I've been bouncing for thirteen years. Both in the night club industry and as a bouncer for numerous female strippers and escorts. I have training in self defense from my uncle. He did tours in WWII, Korea, and Viet Nam, as well as 35 years as a Deputy. I have trained in situation diffusement techniques. I also have learned many take down techniques and many ways to injure and if necessary to kill attackers. I am a competent street fighter, having grown up in Atlantic City, NJ.

In my years as a bouncer I have dealt with just about every conceivable situation possible, from drunken fools who want to fight, to guys with knives and even one guy with a gun. I told him to skin it and we'll see who dies first. In all the years I've been doing this I have had only one situation I couldn't handle by myself, I had to fight 4 guys, thank god I have regulars who have my back.

Bouncing is not about being tough, but about being smart. Knowing when a situation is gonna go bad, and who is gonna be a problem. That is probably the most important thing I've had to learn. As far as celebrities go, they don't impress me. I've met many working in this business, and unfortunately I really feel sorry for them. Their lives are filled with chaos and they never have any peace or quiet. There's always someone wanting something from them, be it an autograph or just to tell them how much they love that particular celebrity. It's really not a life I personally would want, but as long as people want to pay me to keep people away I'll do it. I have a BS in Business from Penn State, I am very articulate and can walk in any circle and feel confident in myself. My self confidence as well as my outer persona have worked well to diffuse many a situation in my time. People usually don't want to meet me in a dark alley. I have successfully survived thirteen years as a bouncer with a minimum of conflicts and so far no injuries. If at all possible it is always easier to talk my way out of a corner than fight my way out, and if possible get out before I'm caught in that corner.

I hope this information is useful to you. If you have more questions please feel free to ask. Just so you know I'm a smart guy not a tough guy. Tough guys don't last in this business smart ones do. I can be a force to be reckoned with, but only when it is the last resort before myself or my client is in danger.

thank you again

Sam Roberts

I'm very impressed Mr. Roberts. You are a far cry from the Rambo wannabe nutjobs who continue to contact me. You are at the top of my list.

I would like to know more about your situation diffusion techniques. I am not only concerned with disturbances that might endanger my client’s safety but also with people who might try to put her in a compromising situation. Sandra is a very sweet girl and I would do anything for her career wise and for her personally. That said, Sandra is kind of naive and maybe even a little dingy. Actually, she is a total dumbfuck. I really need someone who can see a bad situation in the works and can diffuse it before it happens. This girl is a drinker and is trouble with a capital T. I am sure with your many years of bouncing you have that ability to sense when something troubling is about to happen. I am wondering if you have that same intuitiveness with people as well. Con men who prey on models are becoming a large problem in Hollywood and NY. This has lead to models ending up in rehab at 21, and ending up on the internet doing all sorts of depraved acts. It is really a nightmare scenario that I fear. Again, Sandra is just like Forrest Gump except with giant hooters. I'm guessing her enormous breasts draw too much blood from her brain.

Anyway, I'm looking for someone who will not only protect her from harm, but who could also teach her how to act like a fucking adult. I'd like you to tell me about any dealings you have had with shady characters and what sort of things you would see as warning signs when dealing with people who will try to get close to Sandra. Also, are you accustomed to carrying pepper spray, taser, club etc.? Thanks for answering some of my concerns.

Jerry

Jerry ,

Thank you very much for placing me at the top of your list. It is good to know that all these years of bouncing have been good for something other than something to do instead of staying at home. Yes I have been able to hone my skill at feeling a problem before it starts, and yes I usually know who will start the problems. I have found through my experiences that there are basically two types of people and animals in the world. Predator and prey. Predators look for the weak, naive, dingy, etc... in order to survive. Predators don’t like to face other predators because there is the inherent risk of injury to themselves. These con men don't like to have to deal with someone whom they cannot influence or rule over.

I hate to say this but I am a predator and being a predator I recognize my own type. That is not to say that I am looking for someone weak to survive on but I have learned to use this in order to better myself as well as others whom I deal with. You asked about shady characters, once again I hate to say this but, working in this profession you can't help but walk on the dark side from time to time. I will say though no matter how far into the darkness I may travel I always walk in the light. this business is one of those that can not be placed in the category of light or dark, but exists in the gray areas of dusk or dawn when light makes the transition from one to the other. I deal with shady people all the time and more often than not they can be used to my advantage. These slick con men can be easily spotted as they are most often the playboy players at the clubs. The ones all the girls fall all over, the ones who take a different girl home each night. When they are faced with someone who is basically telling them to back off or they might become prey themselves, they have a tendency to slink away in search of easier victims.

As far as pepper spray and tasers, pepper spray is too easy to misuse and you wind up feeling the effects as much as the assailant. Tasers are good if you have time and then ability to hit the target without endangering innocent bystanders, or having the taser taken away and used against you. I personally prefer my flashlight or a baton, but I can't carry a baton in the clubs. These give you a multiple use weapon that can be both offensive and defensive in their use. As with any situation it all comes down to being able to read people and discern their intentions as quickly as possible. I hope this has given you a little more insight into my job and abilities.

Thank You

Sam Roberts

I am very impressed. I majored in philosophy in college and there are some eastern proverbs that reflect the predator/prey dynamic that one can find in people. Have you read any Nietzche? I too try to live more toward the light side of existence. Part of the fabric that makes us up as material beings is given rise to by our primal beginnings.

Sorry, I'm probably coming off as a pompass idiot. I never quite finished college anyway. Nietzche bores the crap out of me.

You are obviously a tough guy with a head on his shoulders. Am glad to see that as a predator you can pick a predator out of the crowd. This is exactly what I am looking for. These "playboys" are exactly who I would need you to keep away from Sandra. I just got a call from Sandra's agency and you may have to work alongside with the agency's regular security guy. Coincidentally I have met him. He is an annoying Irish douchbag, about five foot nothing and was apparently a boxer back in the eighties. I am assuming this was in the 120 and under weight class. Now, this guy isn't scaring anyone. I'm sure if Joe Pesci or Mini-me get fresh with Sandra that he take care of them, but for anyone bigger than Michael J. Fox it is going to be all you. Just put the little bitch in your shirt pocket and pretend like he is part of the team.

Before we hire you. I do need to know if you have a criminal record or have served time in jail. It really depends on the crime as to how much it will effect my decision. I've been arrested a couple of times for disorderly conduct and public intoxication when I was a young man. I was a wild one. Also, if you will I'd like to hear more of your philosophy.

I have to go ice my nuts -- I mean my mouth! I'd sure like you to beat the crap out of my dentist. I'm a wreck.

Jerry , I'm very pleased that you are so impressed with me. More often than not people just see the outward presence that I project, and don't take time to see what’s really going on. This is just kind of funny because we have never met in person. I eagerly await the opportunity to do so.

Now to your question, unfortunately I have been arrested. I was arrested on drug charges back in 1996. At the time my life was a disaster, I was just coming off a really bad break up after a seven year relationship. The woman tore my heart out and gave it back on a silver platter. Thank God all of that nightmare is over. I have done my time, paid my debt to society and left that whole world behind. I hope this doesn't adversely affect your decision. I made a mistake and have paid dearly for it.

As far as the agency security guy goes, I don't see that to be too much of a problem, It's not like I'm not used to working with others, and quite frankly it's nice to have someone there to watch your back. I can understand your concern about his size, but I will have to say some of the toughest men I’ve met have 1. Been Irish or Scottish, and 2. have not always been the largest man. I know plenty of big men who have gotten through life intimidating others with their size, and couldn't't fight their way out of a paper bag.

Now to the philosophical stuff. The way I see things, light and dark, good and evil, positive and negative, are just opposite sides of the same coin so to say. everything in this universe is made of energy. Positive and negative energy. You can't have one without the other. because of this fact I tend to look at people the same way. Everyone is both good and evil. The difference come from which direction the person tends to lean towards. If they follow the dark then the person is usually associated with those things that are wrong and evil in the world. Those that follow the light are good and are associated with all that is good and pure in the world.

Then there are those of us who live in the Gray. I by no means am saying I'm a bad person. Only that there is the potential for me to use my dark side. I learned at a young age to respect and fear my dark side. It is not a thing of unleash indiscriminately. Because of this I have built several safety catches into myself as so not to let the demon out of the bag without just cause. I will say also that once the demon is loose then God help those my fury is directed towards. My father taught me as a young boy that a big man never has to prove he's a big man. I guess that is the opposite of small mans complex, but I have never really given it too much thought. It is just one of those things that I have chosen to live by. I usually tell my girlfriends that "I'm either the nicest guy in the world or the biggest asshole, it all depends on how far you push me." I will also say that I can be pushed quite a ways if I like the individual before my breaking point. By nature I am not a violent man, and I do not like to fight, but I am good at it. Thus I use this to my advantage in the work that I do.

By the way I am a carpenter during the day, bouncing is just something to do at night. It is not my primary source of income, it is more like a diversion, something to do to keep me out of trouble. If your gonna be at a bar might as well get paid for what you would be doing anyway, and the perks are quite nice. Beautiful women, free drinks, and a social life built right in, even though I rarely drink due to the fact that I deal with drunks almost nightly. Well Jerry I hope that this too is to your liking and I hope that we can work together to ensure Sandra's safety as she goes through the shady world of LA and New York. I will say that I have enjoyed communicating with you and sharing some of my philosophies on life and the world.

Thank You,

Sam Roberts

Your ideas are well thought out and comprehensive. I also appreciate your being candid about the drug charges. No big deal as far as I am concerned. We all make mistakes.

I am required to ask you more questions concerning your past. Here goes....Do you have any tattoos that represent any affiliation with gang members? Are you loosely affiliated with any gangs or criminal organizations? Are you known to hang out with convicted felons? Have you ever killed anyone? Even if they totally deserved it?

Being honest it the best policy. There are no right or wrong answers. Peter the Irishman as it turns out worked for an IRA splinter group for a time as a young man. He is now a born again Christian and more annoying then ever. I liked it better when he was blowing up innocent people.

The agency is on my back right now to give them my finalist. They would like you to compete with some other candidates that they chose, in a physical strength and endurance game. It sounds like some reality show boot camp thing. You spend all day with a drill instructor and they test your running, climbing, and combat skills. There will be an obstacle course complete with ponds and a fortress. After you go through the obstacle course you will then go through some scenarios with the instructor that are meant to test your crowd control techniques.

I really hope you are up for it.

Jerry

Jerry , the answers to your questions are all no, none of the above, with the exception of the known felons, I can't quite say, who knows the backgrounds of the people at the bar? I don't ask and they don't tell. As far as the testing I don't see it too be too much of a problem, I will say that I might need a week to get over this damn head cold that I seem to have recently gotten. The obstacle course sounds like fun, I've always wanted to do one of them. I have never heard of anyone having to go through this kind of screening though, usually this type of thing is reserved for training not testing, but oh well. If you could please give me more details on this whole testing thing that way I can be somewhat prepared mentally for what I will have to do. I don't really like going into things completely blind, granted I'll do it, but I don't like it. There are too many variables that can get a person hurt, and I'm not into that.

I would also like to know what the rules as far as physical force are regarding body guards compared to bouncers. We are allowed to use as much force as necessary to control an individual, that sometimes quite a bit. Also if possible I would like to know what agency this is for and who you are working for, as well. I would also like to talk to Peter, to see what he thinks of this agency, whether he likes working there, what kind of people the bosses are etc... I am also curious as to what kind of money we are talking about here, are there benefits, medical etc. I am very interested in this job.

Glad you're up for it. I work for BFA modeling agency. They are only a year old and are based out of Oakland. I am Sandra's manager and have been with her for about six months, ever since she got drunk and pulled off her top and got booted off "Elimi-date". What a dumbass! Ever since she's been with me, her career has skyrocketed. She even had sex with Jon Bon Jovi which has really helped get her cast in some music videos. My wife thinks we are having an affair. That jealous bitch will not let it go. I never sleep with my clients. It's one of those rules that I never break unless I'm drinking Jaegermeister. Then, it's totally out of my hands.

I have here the itinerary for the obstacle course. You will be competing against four other men including Peter who is essentially your teammate. The course is located in an old abandoned amusement park in Oakland. You are to report there at 0500 hrs dressed in something you will feel comfortable swimming and posing in. Don’t wear underwear. Go commando. Bring one bottle of water, and a small lunch with you.

First, there will be a five mile run that will be timed. During the run you will be photographed. It is important that you look good while you run. You might want to practice your "stud run" before the competition. Next, immediately following the run you will be asked to scale a twenty foot wall by climbing some rope. This is followed by twenty minutes of jumping rope. After a short lunch break you will receive instructions on how to play the war game. This involves extreme paintball warfare. You will be armed to the teeth with the latest in paint weaponry. Next, is something they call mental stabilization check. This is where the drill instructor basically screams at you for an hour making you do pushups and sit-ups and more swimming etc while you are completely naked. This is something that really separates the men from the boys. Then a one hour lunch. Lastly, you will go to the north side of the park and begin the competitive hop-scotch tournament.

I know that sounds like a lot of intense stuff. This agency must be pretty hard core about their security. Hopefully you will be up to the challenge. If you do well I think it is certain you will get to the second phase of testing which is all written. The written test is just a series of essay questions concerning everything from crowd diffusing to ‘taint maintenance. I'm positive you would do well. As for the pay the agency says whoever is hired will be starting at 20. That isn't a lot I know, but the agency says that all expenses while working working will be paid for. As far as mentally preparing for the competition I recommend working out and some hard core meditation for an hour a day. I hope to hear from you soon.

Jerry

Jerry,

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you in the last several days, but I have been terribly sick with some sort of flu or something. I have been asleep almost continuously since Friday. This has not been a fun weekend for me. I am still interested, but would like more info on the agency, I am not familiar with them, and yes all this does seem a little strange to me as well. Peters cell number would be great, I would like to talk to him about this whole set up. As far as the money goes I don’t see a problem scince they are also picking up all expenses. From your ealier e-mails I was under the assumption that I would be working for you but I guess that is wrong. Also I am to take it that I am competing for this job against four others that the agency has chosen. I have really no problem with that but all this boot camp stuff seems a little overboard. The only bouncer that I can think of who could run five miles, just got out of the marine corps a year ago. So me running five miles will be a bit of a stretch, I also have had surgery which may not allow me to run, I don't know I will have to try it out and see if I can do it without injuring myself beyond reason. I would also like to know how often I would be working. I have spoken with several models that I know who are fairly well to do in the business and they have said that any security is always provided by the model not the agency. I am waiting for several people to contact me back about all of this. All in all I don't see too many problems with this whole gig, as long as everything I've inquired about comes back as legit. Please keep me informed of any new info you might have that may be of interest to me, anything that might be potential would be greatly appreciated. As I have said I don't like going into something blind, too many chances to get hurt that way.

Thank You

Sam Roberts

Sam,

I have gotten completely jerked around by the agency. I haven't talked to Sandra in a week. I just found out from her mother she is shooting for a calendar in Australia right now. My worst fear is that she has dumped me as her manager and gone with BFA completely. I am furious. I might have to sue. This company is run my some ex Death Row Records employees with lots of cash and few morals. I might have to take matters into my own hands. I have a couple of buddies who low level mafioso in Chicago that might be able to give me the low down on these maniacs. When the shit hits the fan I might need you protecting me. These guys are pretty hard core and I can't take them alone. Would you be interested in working for me? This would involve no boot camp crap. It would just be you watching my back while I go after these fucks. I'm livid.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Jerry,

That seems fine to me, My actress friend whom I am her security manager, has never heard of that agency, and I could not find them anywhere in any of the searches that I've done. And several were not the usual type. The things that they were requiring just didn't quite fit together. Even though security for the models is the norm, the type of testing that they wanted was not. And hey I like the fact that I don't have to run, never did like running anyway. Takes a lot less energy to stand and fight. If necessary as I said before, I do have associates that I work with who are also available if the need arises. As far as your friends in Chicago go, that's always a nice bit of back up to have. You gotta love friends in low places, and out of the way places, who ask no questions and tell no tales. I do believe that we can do some business. Lets get together and talk soon. but not live it. It's all about the money.

Sam

P.S. these thug types are all about bullying, when it comes down to the wire they seldom go the distance, they like to play gangsta

Thanks Sam. I'm ready to go fucking Rambo on these bitches. I don't have any weapons, but last night I broke into their training center and stole all of their paintball weaponry. I got paint bombs, paint guns, and a suitcase full of paint missiles. We are going to paint those fucks. Also, I talked to Peter and he said that he can put a timer on one of the paint bombs. It's going to be sick. Peter is here punching the wall screaming shit in Gaelic. He is so pissed. They fired him via email. He has been drinking since this morning singing Patriot Game and yelling about dropping Crips like bloody English. Dude what I need you to do is go to the store and pick up some supplies. We are going to camp outside of BFA headquarters and build a fortress. We'll be there all night with the attack planned for early tomorrow morning. Go pick up some tents, some food, some beer, a couple of pornos, and please be sure to pick up some lubriderm lotion. 'Taint maintenance is in effect. Also, if you can, buy a junker car that we can blow up and not give a shit about. Peter is going to drive it through the window like the fucking A-Team. Then, we run in and paint the place. After that we take prisoners to the fortress and get them to sign paperwork saying Sandra is still my client. Oh man I am so pumped. I'm looking at myself in the mirror and realizing I am actually fucking ripped. Not The Rock ripped but like a Taxi Driver De Niro tough and handsome look. Okay dude get the shit ready and get ready for war.

Love,

Jerry

I guess Sam wasn’t up to the challenge. No one said guarding supermodels was easy. I am going to miss him.

Peace out,

Shizzy
